Eel - An Introduction
Tuesday, July 25th, 2006True eels are of the order Anguilliformes, and majority of the eels are predators. Most eels prefer to dwell in shallow waters or hide at the bottom layer of the ocean, sometimes in holes. Eel is treated as nourishment in Asia. Especially in Japan, Unadon is a very popular (but a bit expensive) food. Eel skins are used in some purses or wallets as well.
