Kangaroo – An Introduction
Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006Kangaroos are large herbivores, native to Australia. The average life expectance of a Kangaroo is 9-18 yrs, some live up to 28 yrs. Kangaroos having powerful hind legs and large feet for leaping, with a muscular tail for keeping the animals’ balance. Kangaroos are the only large animals to use hopping as a means of locomotion. Kangaroo babies stay in their mothers pouch until they are well grown.
