Moose – An Introduction
Saturday, September 9th, 2006Moose is the largest member of the deer family and are distinguished by the form of the palmate antlers of the males. Moose may grow to be 7 feet tall and 1500 pounds. They like to eat trees and shrubs, usually maple and aspen and are considered herbivores. Moose loose their antlers in the spring, and breed in the fall.
